Thanksgiving at Grandma's

This year Grandma Sue hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the Anderberg/ Davis family. We were able to come Wednesday evening and spend the night. The girls had fun having a Thanksgiving Eve slumber party in Grandma's living room and helping make breakfast the next morning.

At breakfast we filled out our thankful cards listing the things we were most thankful for this year. We keep the cards each year and file them away. When the girls are older it will be fun looking back on the things they listed when they were little.

The girls were excited about getting to help prepare the Thanksgiving dinner.

Around 2pm Uncle Roy and Aunt Sandy and the cousins started to arrive.

Everyone gathered around for prayer.

Mmm. Everything looked so good.

There's just something about the kid table. It makes me smile. :)

After dinner Katie fell asleep in my lap, trapping me on the loveseat in the living room with the men and their serious discussion of politics. I could hear laughter and snippets of cheery conversation wafting in from the women in the dining room. *sigh*

Suzanne lured the men away from their heated debates by bringing out her PS2 and her DDR mats. Here is Seth's cousin Wesley and his daughter Leif.

This is a pic of the girls and their cousins Lute and Leif. They have so much fun playing together.

We had a very fun Thanksgiving with family!
