Hello Spring!

Today we are welcoming in spring with fruit infused water.

Seth and I are enjoying orange and lemon water while the girls are sipping strawberry and lemon. You can add several slices of any fruit to a 32 oz jar, fill with water and let soak in the fridge for a few hours, or overnight.

To make straw lids we cut down lids from plastic containers to fit inside the canning jar rings.

Then we made an X cut with a sharp knife, and slid the straw in.

Mmm, fruit infused water is very refreshing. Hello spring! :)

More valentine pics...

Elsie made me a valentine today. She loves to punch and glue. Love it! Little girls' homemade valentines are the best!

The girls each have a pouch for collecting valentines.

Valentines

There's been some papercrafting fun happening here in the Anderberg house. Valentine making is in full swing.

I set up four stations to minimize chaos and crowding. We had a stamp, pen, and ink station.

A shape punch, and scissors station.

And a sticker station, and glitter station. The girls made over 50 cards yesterday, and will be working on more today.

I have mostly been busy helping the girls. But I did get a chance to make a few valentines of my own.

So much fun! Happy Valentines Day!

January Resolutions

Instead of making year long resolutions I thought I'd make month long resolutions. I am more likely to stick to it when I only have to do it for a month. At the end of January I can reevaluate and determine what my next goals should be.

So, for the month of January I commit to...

Read my Bible and pray every day
Listen to the Truth For Life broadcast every day
Do a T-Tapp workout every day
Dry skin brush every day
Oil pull every day
Drink more water
Read through the entire Beginner's Bible with Vi & Elsie

What are your goals for the new year?
